we got to see switchfoot at the fair again! it was a good show. my sister and jon went together, and we ran into a good number of familiar faces. so neat o .
right before the show, i got to run into bryce, an old friend from high school. he was talking about how he writes songs, at least one everyday. so crazy! he was inspired by jon foreman, and i remembered him saying something about that when he spoke at point loma's 'writer's symposeum.' bryce was like, "you get about 2 or 3 good ones in a week. then you sift through those and you're like 'ehh...,' and you realize that you probably got one out of the whole month." maybe i should try that. take those steps, yo!
